When you browse around my blog, do you notice there is some pop-out served by Amazon.com about a book or a product related to my content?

Yes, finally, Amazon has come out with their own solutions for “AdSense“. I think it’s a very nice way to put an ads that way because it won’t affect the readability of your blog, and your readers will be pleased. They can choose to ignore the ads totally if they aren’t interested, or they can see more information by just hover the mouse over the links. Nice, isn’t it?

Ads like the above are usually called “contextual links”. They become more and more popular lately. And Amazon’s Context Links (official name) do exactly what it writes on the label: “automatically identify and link relevant phrases within your page content to Amazon products”.

Sound compliated? It’s very simple to use actually. All you have to do is cut/paste some code provided by Amazon to your page (just like with AdSense code), leave it up to Amazon to do the rest, and wait for the money to come in.

Before Amazon introduced this new kind of affiliate links, I had to put Amazon links manually. Believe me, you will never want to do it. Now, you (or we) are really lucky to have such a trouble-free way to added cool affiliate links to your contents.

How can you earn a lot of money with this? Certainly, you have to put in some effort (but it’s worth). You may choose some high-earning, popular, and good products to write about, and just make sure that the links appear on your contents by tweaking the keywords or key phrases. Because the product you pick is a solid product, you should have no problem praising it to the sky to encourage clicks, and sales will come.
