Yes, it’s just that simple. For example, if you intend to display an image of a nice car on your site, instead of naming it something meaningless like “pic77.jpg”, or too general like “car.jpg”, why don’t you name it “BMW-Convertable-Car.jpg”.

If you know HTML or your blogging/CMS platform is good, you can always take it one step further by putting some useful description for the images with relevant keywords inside.

You won’t get lots of traffic with this tips, but I’m sure that you will get additional traffic simply and effortlessly. As you know traffic itself can generate more traffic, you will find it’s worth to have some additional traffic no matter how small it is, especially when it comes almost free.
