Have you ever met anyone who doesn’t like to win? Thus, sincerely helping others win without helping himself is a sure way to win with people. If you want to help people win, follow these steps:

  • Believe in people: because if you don’t, you are unlikely to do everything to help them win. And if you really don’t, you should rather not help them. Otherwise, they will see it through and you will get the consequences of being insincere. You understand what I mean?

  • Give people hope: What is hope? I can’t define it exactly but I do know that people can’t live without hope. Hope keeps them going through the tough times. Hope keeps them breathing. So, if you want to help people win, give them true hope.

  • Focus on the process, not just the win: Life is a journey, not a destination”. Enjoy the process while aiming to the outcome. If you help someone along the way to winning, he can win and win in the future. But if you just hand them the victory, it serves no purpose. So, don’t.

  • Understand that when you help others win, you also win: Think about it as a team. When one team member wins, the whole team wins. You can’t help winning when you help others win.

Practice

  • Being a helping friend instead of a competitor.

  • Remember, when you help someone win, you will have a friend for life.
