This isn’t much a review, but I’m sure that you’ll find it helpful if you’re considering DownTownHost service.

This morning, I encounter a problems with my Wordpress blog. When I tried to log in to the admin panel, I saw the following error message out of no where:

Error 403

We’re sorry, but we could not fulfill your request for /wp-login.php on this server.

Your Internet Protocol address is listed on a blacklist of addresses involved in malicious or illegal activity. See the listing below for more details on specific blacklists and removal procedures.

Your technical support key is: ***

You can use this key to fix this problem yourself.

If you are unable to fix the problem yourself, please contact *** and be sure to provide the technical support key shown above.

As an IT professional myself, I still feel lost with such a message, so I tried the “fix this problem yourself” link and found myself reading another “mysterious” message:

If the above suggestions fail to resolve the problem, click Back and contact the e-mail address you were given for further assistance.

No clue. My computer is 99.99% clean from virus and spyware (remember I’m an IT professional). Therefore, I didn’t think the message really told me what the problem was really.

I had no choice but contact DownTownHost support. Within few minutes, I received their first reply. (OK. If you read my previous posts about DownTownHost, you shouldn’t be surprised about their speed). After about half an hour of exchanging about 10 (short) emails, my problem was solved.

To make it clear for for other Wordpress users, the problem was caused by a Wordpress plugin called Bad-Behavior. Actually, the plugin had been working fine for at least a month. I didn’t why suddenly it blocked me instead of blocking bad access only.

Again, I’m very happy with fantastic customer support from DownTownHost (especially when comparing to other hosting services I used before). Not to mention, my server has never been down since I wrote my last post about DownTownHost. I salute myself for having decided to move over to DownTownHost ;)

I think I’ve written enough good things about DownTownHost. The next post I write about DownTownHost (if any) would be a COMPLAINT about whatever they might make me unhappy (in the future).

However, if you don’t see any of such post in the future, you can safely assume that I have NO complaint about them. (I do hope I don’t have to write about DownTownHost anymore. They really spoiled me. Now, any supporting email replied after half an hour is considered to be “bad service”).

Blog marketing is dominating the Internet world because most of everyone is doing and using it to make either extra or main stream income. Some bloggers even can earn to six figure income. So, how do you become a six figure blog marketer? Oh, there are secrets that not everyone wants to reveal, unless they write it in an eBook and sell to you. However, if you desire to make that amount of money and of course, if you have enough money to invest in it, you have your chances to become a six figure blog marketing guru as well.

Obviously, six figure blog marketing is not simply done with one single blog. It would take so many blogs to make up to that figure. And again, it needs funds and resources. First, you need to find out the markets that have low competition but are high in the search engine rankings. This research will give you a great idea of what you should be marketing in your blog and what you should avoid. The best is that you can find a niche market that is barely touched in the world of Internet marketing. In addition, you then have to make up your mind if the niche markets discovered are ones that you are interested in. Some start out with things that they are keen on and get great results, whether they are niche markets or not because passion is a key factor of success. Don’t you think so?

When you have set your goal to attain six figure blog marketing, you are going to quickly find out that outsourcing some work to others is necessary. It’s impossible to do all of the work yourself to earn that amount of money. Make sure that you hire those that you can trust and have a great reputation for getting work done on time and accurately. That’s what you want from your workers, isn’t it?

While planning to outsource work to others, it’s also good to decide what things need to be done and prioritizes them. For example: one person to set up your many blogs, another one to write the content for the blogs. You can pay those experts on particular markets that you want to blog about for the rights to their articles. After that, feel free to post them on your blog.

Moreover, six figure blogs need to be updated in a timely manner. You have to update them as often as possible, and yes, you can hire someone to be sure that everything goes smoothly.

Making a six figure income with blogs is the ideal work at home job. You make great money, and have great people working for you. Just to emphasize again that you need to hire those that know what they are doing and are fluent in the language that you are marketing in as well. Someone that speaks and writes poor English will definitely not help your income, but may hurt it if you have English based readers.

First, we need to identify and track examples of click frauds to eradicate the problem.  Click fraud is a huge drain on the resources of advertisers operating on both national and international scale. It is estimated to occupy about 30% of all pay-per-click advertising spend.  With so much at stake, we’re not surprised to see that the search engines investing so much time and effort into devising solutions.

Introducing IP address repetition algorithms is one method the Search Engines and other pay-per-click programme providers use to reduce growing click fraud problem.  These formulae are built to find out suspicious click patterns emanating from a singular IP address. This is useful in uncovering the existence of click farms and tracking potential fraudsters at source as well. Nevertheless, this method of attempting to identify the fraudsters has some problems.  Firstly, fraudsters logging on Internet through a dialup modem, DSL line or cable modem can almost completely pass this check because every new online session generates a new IP address.  Moreover, there is a lot of software available to adjust IP addresses, which again aimed to “cheat” the algorithm.

Other methods by which search engines can attempt to detect potential fraudulent activity are cookie and session tracking, but again there are ways around these for the fraudsters.

More comprehensive software is being designed which describes and reports on the browsing habits of each click-through to help companies to track and monitor questionable behaviour, although this may be seen by many as intrusive and ineffective because anything on a small scale is still likely to go unnoticed, based on the vast coverage of ads across the internet.

There are a number of self-help approaches that can be implemented to keep an organization out of trouble.  The first of these remedies is the reliance on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and organic listings.  If a site is good and fully optimized, it could eventually realize a ranking for that another site is willing to pay $2.50 a click.  Similarly, with organically high rankings, there is no click through rates; hence the costs associated with pay-per-click are not applicable. Although the process is significantly more laborious and takes considerable time to be successful, the SEO process is much more economical in the long run. With an anticipated 25-30% of all clicks being performed fraudulently, an organically high listing can save money which would otherwise be wasted by click fraud for more beneficial reinvestment.

Year over year, as the pay-per-click advertising market keeps growing and expanding, certainly click fraud will follow suit.  Unless an effective means of stopping click fraud is developed and successfully implemented, buyers will steadily lose confidence in the advertising medium and turn to more effective, less wasteful marketing methods, which would critically hit the search engines and could potentially threaten the online economy as a whole.
