To win with people, you must believe that there is nothing in this life more important than people. It’s true, isn’t it? This belief will make you do everything in your power to add value to people.

  • Value people: Your attitude toward people is the starting point. How can you add value to SOMEBODY when deep inside, you feel that he/she is NOBODY? Value them first, and then you can add value to them.
  • Make yourself more valuable: We have mentioned in the ”Be a winner yourself first” chapter that “you cannot give what you do not have“.  That’s correct. You may have a very good heart and a desire to give but have little to offer at the same time. Before you can add value to people, you need to have something to add first. Therefore, making yourself more valuable by learning new skills, acquiring more knowledge, gaining experiences… will increase your ability to help others.
  • Know what people value: If you have read and practice the “Listen with your heart” and “Find the keys to their hearts” chapters, it would be easier for you to find out what people value and from there, you can add value to them. For example, if your wife value the time with you, you can add value to her by spending more time with her. By doing that, not only that person but you gain the value as well.

Practice

  • Think of becoming a person of value, not a person of success.
  • Learn from those who are adding values to your life to add value to others.
  • Value people from the heart before adding value to them.
